Well, I survived the big ass storm that swept into Pueblo on Saturday. What a mess.

We were at the Pueblo Mall when it hit and the ceiling at Dillards starting dropping ceiling tiles and leaking like someone turned the hose on in the rafters. When we looked outside, it looked like those videos of Florida when the hurricaines hit.

Pretty freaky stuff… tornadoes and rain and floods.

This ties in nicely with my recent discussions with a friend about creating a real pro web community that’s restricted access. Forums like FredMiranda and the like have such a high signal-to-noise ratio, I just get frustrated over there.

1: The new agency will be called SHiFT.
2: That’s … well … underwhelming.
1: Tell me about it. It’s full of shift.
2: That’s what I read it as first. First thought, “wow they’re calling themselves ‘SHiT’ … edgy.”
1: They’re a bunch of shiftheads.

There’s change in the air… I’m getting ready to switch up both the software that powers this blog as well as the template design.

I’ve decided to go to WordPress for the new iteration of this blog for the simple reason that I’m tired of the beastie that is Movable Type. WordPress is also free with no limits on authors, blogs, or whether or not I’m writing this in my underwear.

The new design will definitely be a departure from what I’ve had here for the last… well, too long. I’m even changing up the colors. And there’ll be gradients. And maybe I’ll make the logo reflective and call it “Bregar2.0″ or “BregarBeta”… or maybe “Bregr”.

For those of you who JUST…CAN’T…WAIT, here’s a sneak peek into the future.
