PowerBooking… one week later.
I’ve spent a week with this PowerBook, and I must say I’m really happy I bought it.
Loaded it up with 1.5GB of RAM but other than that it’s bone stock. I’ve also snagged a G-Technology G-Drive Mini (FireWire bus-powered mini-drive).
The keyboard is really really nice… and the fact that it lights up just adds to the coolness. I’m also a big fan of the auto-dimming screen. The screen is sharp and bright, but I would like more pixels (wouldn’t we all?). Battery life is good, but not outstanding… but that could be the fact that I haven’t played with the energy saver stuff either.
Photoshop and Dreamweaver work just like they do on the Windows desktop… just like I thought they would. ![]()
Size and weight are “just right”.
Go Apple.
